We Are Thankful!

We are thankful!

Premier Designs just celebrated its 27th anniversary! Wow! Premier is recognized by many as a successful company. Yes, take a good look and you’ll see the attributes of a solid, well-managed, highly-respected company. We are very thankful to God and all of you. God has blessed Premier and grown us. Those of us in Dallas cannot impact all our people. Listen, the direction of Premier in future years will be decided not by the care of a few, but by the thousands and thousands of Jewelers in the outer limits.

Here are two things we can do to prevent Premier from just becoming just another direct sales company:

1  Let’s not take what we have for granted, what brought us to where we are and who we are. All were based on our founding principles—honor God and serve people.

2 Leaders at all levels must touch those they sponsor and those they now have in their family downline. Focus on serving and building people and they will build the business. It must be more than just talk. It must be practiced and shown in our walk.

Let’s count our blessings, today and every day.

I’m so grateful to the Lord for all He has done and all He will do. Once a year we celebrate a day of thanksgiving. This is good, but it should be a daily, year-round attitude.

Every Thanksgiving I reflect back on my life. Born in Ireland, one of 13 children, by others’ standards very poor. Growing up with no dad and my mom, an Irish scrub lady, sometimes made me angry. My mom loved God. Why did He not bless us? In those days I measured values by a standard of living —home, car, clothes, and spending money. I was normal and like most others, I guess.

Today, looking back, I understand that the most valuable things in life are not what we can buy. Now, I am so thankful for a mother who disciplined me, worked me to death and brought me up in the nourishment of the Lord. What I am today is a result of my mother’s love and care. Thank you, God, for my heritage and all the blessings I have received because of it.

“Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.”
Colossians 2:6-7

On Thanksgiving, join me in counting our blessings. I’m thankful for our personal family —five children and 16 grandchildren, and five awesome great-grandchildren. Every day I am thankful for my extended Premier family.

We love America and are thankful for the freedoms we have. It was founded on “In God We Trust,” and we still do.

With thanks in your heart to God, enjoy your work, family, friends, and associates this Thanksgiving. May we never forget to count our blessings—each of you is one of ours.

Have a joyful, happy Thanksgiving.

We are thankful for all of you.

In everything, let’s be thankful.

  1. Thank you, Andy, for being a true servant of God and for taking His lead in designing Premier. You have blessed so many of us in too many ways to mention them all. Premier has allowed me to make the decision to leave my full-time job, after much prayer and many signs from God that I am moving in the right direction. I am so excited that I can spend more time in my home with my young son and have Premier as my only job. My family is blessed through Premier in so many ways, and even better than that, I am able to bless others through my sponsoring, through the prayer box that I offer at shows, and through an afternoon or a night of fun jewelry time when there are so many worries on people’s minds these days. Thank you again!
