Christine Cooper, Two Diamond Designer from New Jersey
I had the pleasure to meet Kristen (pictured with Christine on the left) and her mom at a Jewelry Show a few years ago. They booked a show and I quickly learned that young Kristen was mature beyond her years. In 2013, Kristen and her friend Nina, teamed up for a fundraising event, and for the past two years we repeated the event.
Kristen suffers from a rare genetic disorder called PCD, which has required her to make frequent visits to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She wanted to brighten the kids’ day by giving some joy over the Christmas season, while they were in the hospital. Including two other direct sales companies, over the years we have conducted fundraisers to help Kristen’s cause and dream to come to fruition. The free jewelry earned was packaged and gift wrapped and delivered to the children’s hospital for some Christmas cheer!
Wanting to share Kristen’s spirit of giving at our area wide Hostess Appreciation Event, with about 100 ladies in attendance, I asked her to speak. I’m so proud of Kristen. She is the epitome of what I pray our youth of today will continue to be – to lead by example and have a servant’s heart. Kristen also turns 18 soon and she aspires to become a part of our Premier Designs team to make some extra money while she attends school, using it as a tool to assist her with her future endeavors in fashion. The UPDATE just highlighted our latest December fundraiser show as the #20th show in the Northeast!
It is my thrill to share this young lady’s story with you.
