I remember a year ago at Rally, sitting listening to Melody Box’s story about her cancer and seeing her brave courageous spirit as she shared her story. My thoughts were, “Would I be like that?”
I am Martha Trice – I have been in Premier for 15 years and love the company and all it stands for. My husband and I are overseers over a small network of House Churches. We had just had a delightful Christmas dinner in our home. It was two weeks before Christmas and I felt a large lump in my breast. It was shocking, but I knew it was something that had to be addressed. In January after multiple biopsies and mammograms, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma that had spread to my lymph nodes.
Care Net supports one of the largest networks of pregnancy centers in North America and runs the nation’s only real-time call center providing pregnancy decision coaching. It’s a ministry that I absolutely love and believe in! I volunteer as an advocate for the women and families. I held a fundraiser show for CareNet Pro-Life pregnancy center in Redding, CA. From the one show I have booked other shows to continue to raise funds for this ministry. So the original fundraiser show acted as a leg to other fundraisers. I will continue to give 20% of my profit to CareNet through shows that originated from the first show.

Every Tuesday, over 60 homeless people come to their facility for a hot shower, a fresh meal, a haircut and shave and to do some laundry. They have a garden on premises that is kept up by some of the homeless people, and in doing so, they earn points they can exchange for toiletries, clothing, shoes etc. They provide prayer, love, hope, temporary housing, job opportunities, a program that teaches them responsibility to help them get back on their feet and a big hug when they walk through the door.Read More »
My whole “why” of Premier was to use this business as a way to give back. For 23 years I was a perpetual fundraiser with my 3 girls and even had the official title of Church Marketing Coordinator for our church. So I was pretty good at selling stuff!
My purpose when I started with Premier in July of 2014 was to reach out and focus on fundraising and I have been blessed through the giving.Read More »
